Because Oddball specializes in probability, he runs several scenarios through his head at once. He has internal arguments to decide the best course of action. I imagine it’s like the angel/devil on the shoulder, but in his case, it’s just little Oddballs.

It’s National Superhero Day! As you know, superheroes are vitally important. It’s fun watching my kids discover their favorite heroes. My daughter loves Wonder Woman, Ghost Spider, and the Invisible Woman. My son loves Batman, Spider-man, and Superman. Yesterday he latched onto Wolverine, a guy who goes where he wants to go.

I asked them who their favorite character of mine was. They both answered “SKULL BOY!”

Kinetica was able to absorb the kinetic energy of an explosion in issue 10, which she held for the 6 months it took for me to draw issue 11. She’s insanely powerful. Also, a fun fact, she retains her powers from the serum longer than most because she subconsciously slows her metabolism.

Camden’s Comics is a teenager today! That’s right, a long time ago The Bolt no. 1 released, kickstarting my own comic book universe. Since then, it’s been a wild ride. I remember penciling The Bolt no. 6 in the days leading up to my wedding. I remember sitting in the hospital waiting for my firstborn to arrive, inking The Bolt no. 10. I love comic books. I love waking up and penciling a new Bolt or Anomaly adventure. I’m lucky to still be doing this after all these years. Chasing dreams is not easy and I couldn’t do it without support from my wife, my family, my friends and you.

And hey, 13 years after The Bolt no. 1, I have 3 titles in print and I’m headed to SDCC!

Bonus: I’ve hidden 13 Easter eggs from past issues in this picture. First person to find them all wins a prize!

I made a new Superman cape for my 1995 Animated Series Superman. Originally he came with a detachable plastic cape which I lost immediately. Cloth capes > plastic capes.
